Jays

This half term we have been scientists - making predictions, carrying out investigations and coming up with conclusions. We have tested materials, experimented carrying out tasks with either our left or right hands and tried to grow cress in different environments. It has been lovely to involve some parents too, so thank you for your support. Our summer of science will continue after half term. In English we have been writing stories based on St George's day and been reading Fantastic Mr Fox. In maths, we have been learning to read scales on thermometers and measuring cylinders - it has been tricky when the scales are different on each item! Our SATs are under way and I would like to say a huge well done to all of the children who are continuing to work hard and do their best. We are proud of you. A reminder that PE takes place on a Monday, but it is useful to have a PE kit in school at all times in case we make any timetable changes. Many thanks for your continued support with your child's learning.
